Bluecity Joins ITS Canada and Presents Joint Webinar with ITS Malaysia
Bluecity is very happy to announce that it has joined ITS Canada, a network of subject matter experts and strategic partners that acts as a hub for mobility technologies and where the needs of the Canadian transportation system connect with the ideas, technologies and capabilities of members. The goals of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) include moving towards a fully integrated transportation management system, improving efficiency, safety, productivity and general mobility, while reducing threats to travel safety and security as well as the negative effects to the environment such as pollution. Bluecity shares these goals.
As a member of ITS Canada, Bluecity will be presenting at a joint webinar between ITS Canada and ITS Malaysia entitled “ITS – Build Back Better” being held from Sept. 7-9, 2021. Build Back Better (BBB) is a concept that uses pandemic recovery as an opportunity to improve a community’s physical, social, environmental and economic conditions to create a more resilient community effectively and efficiently.
This joint webinar will focus on two topics. The first is looking at how to effectively implement the Malaysian ITS Blueprint 2019-2023 to help the transportation and construction sectors recover from the Covid19 pandemic. The second is to share knowledge on how ITS can help public transport operators recover from a drastic reduction of passengers and how to improve resilience of the public transport system to face future pandemics.
Bluecity will be presenting “Safety Analytics Platform for Traffic Control” on September 8, at 9:30 pm (EDT) and will showcase its IndiGO platform. IndiGO is an AI-powered real-time multimodal traffic monitoring and data analytics system that uses lidar technology to better solve safety and traffic related issues. Unlike camera-based systems, IndiGO sensors respect users’ privacy and work in any lighting and weather conditions.
